Reservations for Academic Spaces

Welcome to the George Washington University's Event Management System.

From here, you can request academic and event space for use by GW departments and student organizations.  Some outside (non-profit or government) organizations with a GW sponsor may also request the use of academic space at Foggy Bottom during the summer.

To request space:

-Log-in to your EMS account using your GW NetID (the first part of your GW email address before the @ symbol) and password.

-Select the correct term for Foggy Bottom requests or location (such as VSTC) under the Reservations tab.

-Complete the form and submit.

Please note: submitting a request does not guarantee a room. Your reservation is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation e-mail from the Academic Scheduling Office.

Your request will be processed within two business days, so we recommend that you submit your request at least five days prior to your event.

If you are requesting space that is located at the Mount Vernon Campus and it is not class related, please submit your request via the Mount Vernon Campus Events website.

If you are looking for more information regarding the setup or technology in a specific classroom, please see Buildings & Rooms.

By requesting classroom space through the Academic Scheduling Office, you are acknowledging your acceptance of our Policies.

For useful tips please see our FAQs.
